Someone called my mom claiming I owe a debt I don't have.

I got a call about a debt collection. The person who called said they were from some company, I didn't catch the name. They called my mother's number, not even mine.

They told her I had an unresolved debt that needs to be settled. This debt does not exist. I don't owe this money. Then they tried to get a payment from her for a settlement and said there would be a court summons if we didn't pay.

It felt really off. They were threatening a summons over something I never owed. The number they used was (833) 498-4700. I tried to look them up and there's no real company info. No website I could find, just an email that looks fake. The whole thing didn't make any sense and it upset my mom.

Got a call about a bill from a company I don't know.

I got a phone call about some outstanding bill. They said I owed money. I have never heard of this company before. I don't know what bill they're talking about. The call came from 1(202) 318-7003 and they said they were from DC. I didn't give them any money or information. It just felt off. I never had any business with them.

Got a letter about a debt I know nothing about

I got a written letter in the mail about some "debt." I don't know anything about this. I never got any notice before this. The letter had a phone number, (844) 548-8080, and said the address was in Chicago, IL. I don't owe this money. It doesn't make any sense to me. I didn't sign up for anything or buy anything from them. Now I have this letter and I don't know why.
