Got a text offering money to put an ad on my car

I got a text message offering me money to put an advertisement on the outside of my car for some product. They said I was supposed to deposit a check they’d send and then send $3,200 to a decal installation specialist. After that, I was supposed to get $700 each week that went by. The whole thing felt off. The phone number they used was (224) 237-6877 and an address in Ripon, California. I didn’t go through with it, but it was definitely an employment scam.
