Phone call saying I need to be home for court papers

Got a call from some “dispatcher” saying they needed to make sure I would be home so they could serve me legal paperwork. I asked what paperwork and they said a notice to appear in court for some complaint filed against me. I told them go ahead and bring the papers so I can see what it’s about.

They gave me this 1-877 number to call with a case number. I didn’t bother calling because I know it’s a scam. Nobody ever showed up with any papers. They had my full name and address though which is a little creepy.
