Got a threatening text message about a criminal case

I got this broken-up text message. It was from some number, (563) 429-8026. The message said if I don't act, it will go criminal. That's it. It felt really off.

I don't know who it's from. The email they gave was just [email protected] and they said they're from CA. I never signed up for anything. There's no website or anything. It just seems like a scam to scare me. I didn't click anything or lose money, but getting a message like that is unsettling.
