Thought I was renewing my passport but it was a fake site

I was trying to renew my passport online. I found a website that looked exactly like the official US passport website. I thought it was the real government site. I went through the whole process and paid $137 for what I thought was my renewal fee.

Later, I realized the site wasn't official at all. It was a complete copycat. They took my money and I never got any confirmation or receipt for a passport renewal. Nothing. I feel completely tricked because they made it look so real. Now I'm out that money and still need to actually renew my passport.
