Paid for a birth certificate online and got charged extra fees

I needed a birth certificate from Mississippi so I went online on April 9, 2026 to request vital records. I didn't realize it but somehow I got sent to this site called USA-VREXPRS instead. I filled everything out, put in my card number, and paid $109.00 for the birth certificate. I thought that was kind of high but I just paid it.

Then when my credit card statement came I saw they charged me $9.99 in May and another $9.99 in June. So three charges total for $128.98. I never got any birth certificate or receipt or confirmation email. I definitely never said they could keep charging me every month. I tried to find a way to contact them but there's no phone number or email I could find. I don't know how to stop it except to just cancel my card.

Charged over $120 for a birth certificate service I canceled

I tried to use USA-VREXPRS to get a birth certificate. I had to stop the process because they required the mailing address and ID address to be the same, which wasn't going to work for me. I stopped everything before any payment was supposed to be issued.

But then they charged my card $121.00. After that, they started taking $10.00 every month. I never agreed to any of these charges. I didn't authorize them at all.

This feels like a scam. They shouldn't be able to take money for a service I canceled and never got. Someone should look into this company.
