Website charged me $189 for passport paperwork I could get free
Paid for passport renewal but only got a free form
After I paid, they sent me a PDF form to fill out. I realized it was the exact same form that you can download for free from the actual U.S. government website. They never processed anything for me at all. I called the number on their site 1(888) 458-2943 and emailed [email protected] but nobody ever got back to me. They just took my money and gave me a free form in return.
Charged 218 dollars for a form I thought was my passport
They really misled me into thinking the payment was for the actual passport and card. Turns out the 218.00 was just for the form. That is not what the website said at all. I feel like I got tricked into paying for something I could have gotten for free.
Site acting like the government charged me for passport help
Turns out it's just a third party site. They don't do anything you couldn't do yourself for free. I paid all that money and still had to pay the real passport fee separately. It's basically a worthless service. I feel like they tricked me into thinking I was paying the government directly.
Passport site looked official but took my money
But then nothing. There is no phone number anywhere on the site. I sent emails to [email protected] a bunch of times and never heard back once. The address they list is 350 fifth ave, New York, NY 10118 which is literally the Empire State Building address, so that's clearly fake.
I just want people to know this is a scam. Be really careful when looking for passport renewal online, make sure you go to the official .gov site. This place took my money and gave me nothing.

They took $189 from me and a ton of personal information. I thought all that info was needed to verify my identity for the renewal. But then they just emailed me the actual government form they filled out. So now I still have to go to the real government site and pay again to actually renew my passport. It’s very deceptive.
And the worst part is all that personal info I gave them wasn’t even on the form they sent me. So I’m pretty sure that data is being sold somewhere now. Very upsetting.

When I went to the post office the clerk told me it was a scam. My son is a minor so the whole thing was wrong anyway. They just filled out the paperwork and charged me for it. I had to pay another $167 at the post office to do it the right way. So I lost $189 for nothing.
