Plastic fake engine shipped instead of real kit

I ordered a V8 gasoline model engine kit from V8EngineStore.com. It was supposed to be assembled at home and run on a small amount of gas. I paid $34.95 for it.

What showed up was a piece of plastic that looks like metal. It's just a fake engine that's already put together. It will not work at all.

I tried emailing [email protected] but no reply. Their address is 2026 W. Heading Ave., Peoria, IL 61604. Phone number is (309) 740-1976. Just a total waste of money.

Mini engine kit I ordered was just a model that doesn’t run

I ordered a mini engine building kit from v8enginestore.com. The ad showed a box with a bunch of pieces and said it was a real engine you put together yourself. What showed up was not a kit at all. It’s just a plastic model that doesn’t do anything.

They also charged me $123.68 but my receipt says a lower price. They took double what I agreed to. I tried emailing [email protected] but nobody answered. The address they have is 2026 West Heading Ave., Peoria, IL 61604. I don’t know if that’s even real.

So I’m out the money and stuck with a fake toy.
