Paid for a puppy on Facebook and then they wanted $800 for a crate

I was looking for a Chihuahua puppy and I found this person Valarie Conant on Facebook. She messaged me on Messenger and seemed legit at first. We had a deal for her to deliver the puppy on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.

I already sent them $350 through PayPal, ended up costing me $360.45 with fees. The plan was she delivers the dog and I pay the remaining $350 in cash. But then the delivery guy said I needed an $800 crate and told me to buy an Apple card and he would refund me later. That's when I got suspicious and backed out.

I just want my money back and to report these people. Their number is (334) 868-9300 and they're based out of Jackson, MS.
