Got a call about a federal debt program that seems fake

I got a call from a guy saying he represented a federal program for people with debt. He said he helps people with organizations that illegally take money, and they can lower monthly payments. He wanted to know all the places I might have debt with, like my credit cards and banks, to see if I qualify.

He gave me his website to look up, validdebtrelief.com. I went to check it out, but there’s no such website. The whole thing felt off. The call came from (304) 309-3255, and he said they were based in West Virginia.
