Got a weird voicemail about a loan I never applied for.

I got a voicemail from someone named Vanessa Rojas. She said she was with the verification department and was a credit analyst. The message said it was about my loan application for a personal line of credit or a consolidation loan, which I never applied for.

She said something about it not moving forward before but that rates changed. She said I could get approved for about $49,000 and it was just pending income verification. She told me to press one or call back at 855-909-0822 to go over my terms.

It felt off. I don't remember inquiring about any loan like that. It was just a random voicemail out of the blue.

Got a weird automated call about a loan I never applied for.

I just got this strange automated call. It was a computer voice saying it was Vanessa Rojas from the verification department. The message said it was about my loan application and that I was approved for $49,000, something about pending income verification.

It told me to press one to speak to someone on the team to finalize the funding, or press nine to be removed from future updates. The number it gave to call back was 833-588-3810. The whole thing felt off. I never applied for any loan. It was just a robotic message pushing me to press one. I didn't press anything, I just hung up.
