Got a weird call about my car warranty and a fake check
Then they said they were going to send me a check as some kind of bribe or reward. They wanted me to deposit it. I know that's a classic fake check scam. I didn't give them any information and I hung up.
No money was taken, but it was clearly a phishing attempt. They were just trying to trick me.
