Door-to-door Verizon rep promised free trial then sent a bill
We are with Spectrum right now but our deal runs out June 2027 so I thought it would be a good backup. So he installed it and activated it. Three days later I get a bill from Verizon for $75 for June. I finally got someone on the phone and they told me no such deal exists.
So basically Verizon themselves are running some kind of phishing scam. Pretty sure that breaks some New York State law about anti-phishing.
Called saying they were Verizon and ordered 4 phones I never asked for
I have 4 phones I did not order. I tried sending them back but they lied and sent emails saying I’m not responsible. But I still have a high bill for something I did not order. I was scammed. I have many police reports. I spoke to a guy who said he worked for Verizon but his number comes up as a different country.
Email and phone call about a declined payment that felt off
They were pushing me to click the link in the email while I was on the phone with them. I asked if I could have someone else on the line to verify what was going on and they said three-way calling is prohibited. That didn't sound right. I didn't click anything or give them any info. I just hung up.
Got a text about unpaid tickets and my license being taken
Got a call saying I won a free safety button system
