Hired for remote software work then cut off without pay

I found a contract job listing for software engineers from Vertice Labs. They hired me for remote work. I did the work they asked for, and once it was finished, they just cut off all my electronic access. They went completely silent.

They never paid me the wages we agreed on. This wasn't just me. I know it's happened to multiple other people they hired. The phone number they used was (336) 420-8276 and their website is verticelabs.io. The address they gave was 1515 Mockingbird Lane Suite 400 in Charlotte. The email contact was [email protected].

I lost $14,500 because of this. They set this whole thing up just to not pay people.
