Got a text about my home warranty expiring, but it felt off

I got a text saying my home warranty from Navigant Credit Union was expiring at the end of the month. The message said I needed to contact them. They used the name of my actual bank from my loan, which made it seem real at first. The text was signed from Vicky Mercer, program manager. The whole thing just didn't make sense to me, so I didn't call the number they gave. It felt like a scam.
