Text about a CNA job that felt off
Something about it didn't sit right with me. I know Indeed doesn't contact you through random texts or phone calls to offer jobs. They wouldn't ask for your personal email like that either. This felt like a scam attempt to me, so I didn't go any further with it.
Job offer on Indeed turned out to be a scam
They sent me some paperwork and asked for money upfront. Said it was for training or equipment or something like that. I sent them 29 dollars which I know is not a ton but still. After I paid, the communication just stopped. No more emails, no replies.
The phone number they gave was (347) 719-3030 and the address said Los Angeles CA. I tried calling a few times and nobody picks up. I looked into it more and the company just doesn't seem real. I wish I would have trusted my gut before sending anything.
Email about a job contract then I could not reach them anymore
Now I can't reach them at all. The email was from [email protected] and the phone number they gave is (347) 719-3030. They said they were in NY, USA. I already lost $29.00 to this. I just feel stupid.
