Got a fake text about a vehicle violation from Washington DOL

I just got a text message saying it's from WA/DOL. It was a "Final Notice" about a delinquent vehicle violation. It says their database shows an unpaid balance on my vehicle and this is the last notice before they put sanctions in place.

It listed all these penalties that would start by March 2026 if I didn't pay, like blocking my registration and adding late fees. The text told me to use the official WA portal to pay right away and gave a link: https://wa.gov-baw.cfd/dol.

The whole thing felt off. I know this is a scammer's website, not the real Washington DOL. The phone number with the message was (307) 359-6285 and the address just said WY, USA. I didn't lose any money, but it's clearly a phishing attempt. I never signed up for anything from them.
