Got a text from a number listed as a scam

I got a text from 954-905-7677 at 1:08 PM on March 9th, 2026. It said, "It's Sam with Waynesville Windows. We are working near my home address this week doing install quotes, want one?"

I didn't recognize it, so I looked up the number. The first thing that came up was a ScamPulse.com report from February 11th saying it's a scam number. That felt really off, getting a text like that from a number that's already flagged.
