Chimney inspection turned into $550 cash with no receipt

I had an appointment for Friday the 24th at 10am to get my chimney inspected and repaired. It’s a metal chimney. I waited until 11:20 and nobody showed up. I had another appointment at 11:30 so my wife had to deal with the repairman when he finally came.

When I got home I found two pieces of tape on my chimney and my wife said she was charged $550 in cash. No receipt. The guy told her he needed cash or a money transfer. She said she agreed to the amount but I feel we were grossly overcharged. My wife feels like she was taken advantage of.

I tried to fill out another form but they don’t have an address or postal code since they are mobile. Their phone is (289) 806-3164 and website is fireplacechimneywelland.ca. I do not know if anything can be done but I need to report this.
