Text about a Best Buy purchase I didn't make
Then I got another text back saying thank you we will contact you for security verification. Case ID #876642. It also said msg and data rates may apply. That was it. Nobody ever called me.
The phone number on this was (806) 401-7372. I lost $5,700 total from this. It was on my credit cards.
Call saying Wells Fargo wanted money for my car loan
Then I got this message from someone named Vanessa Mitchell with document services. She said it was all intended for Jason Anderson. Reference number 270-7469. Something about a noncompliance notice being filed against me. If I didn't get the notice by mail I was supposed to call the litigation's office to request a copy sent certified. Said the complaint can move forward legally without my consent within one to two business days. Told me to call 866-654-6144.
None of this makes sense. It's not even my name and I don't have anything through Wells Fargo.
Call saying my credit card was hacked and I owed money back
I went to the bank and took out the extra money. I bought gift cards for 4080 and sent them to him. Never heard from him again.

Phone call saying they were fraud detection from Wells Fargo
I didn't give them any personal info but they already had my bank account number, last 4 of my SSN, my DOB, and even my most recent bank transactions. They used all that to make it seem real. I'm not someone who falls for these things but they had so much correct information that I thought it had to be Wells Fargo.
They ended up hacking my account by changing my password and transferred the money out. I was their puppet and it infuriates me. Lost $5000. The number they called from was (805) 638-5244 and the email was [email protected].
Paid $379 for a product and never got it
I filed a claim with Wells Fargo about it. They ended up denying my claim. So now I’m out the $379 and I still don’t have the product. This business basically stole my money and there’s nothing I can do about it.
Mail saying they’ve been trying to reach me about my mortgage
It feels off. I don’t even know if this is really from them or not. They didn’t put a company name on it that I recognize, just that weird all caps spelling. There was a phone number on it too, (833) 408-1583.
I haven’t lost any money yet but it just feels strange getting all that mail at once. I don’t know what to make of it.

Letter about a paid off house from Wells Fargo with a scam phone number
I looked up that number on google and it popped up on Ecautious.com as a scam tracker. So it's clearly not really from Wells Fargo. Just a letter trying to trick people I guess. We didn't lose any money but it felt strange getting that in the mail.
Got a weird text with a Wells Fargo link I didn't trust
The message listed a phone number, 1(800) 869-3557, and an email, [email protected]. It even had a return address in Saint Paul, MN. At the bottom it had all the official Wells Fargo privacy policy and fraud warning stuff, which just made it more confusing.
I'm not clicking on that link. It just didn't make sense for them to text me a login link out of the blue like that. Now I don't know if it's really from them or not.
