Bought an outfit online that said returns allowed but they refused

I ordered an outfit from this website because it specifically said I could return it within 30 days if it didn't fit. So I got it, tried it on right away, and the legs were too long and the bodice was off. No big deal I thought, I'll just send it back.

So I emailed them asking how to do the return. They told me I couldn't return it because I could have had it altered instead. That makes no sense. I looked up some reviews after that and found out the company isn't even in Boston like they claimed. It ships from the Netherlands and the stuff is made in China. I can't find a real address or anything. They are untraceable. I should have checked before ordering. Now I'm out $65.90.
