Paid $1250 for state trademark checks that might be fake
I already avoided other USPTO scammers before but this one got me because he had access to my full card number which was on file at USPTO.gov. They told me all 50 states need to be contacted during the trademark process to check if anyone already has my name in use. It costs $25 times 50 states so I paid $1250.
A couple days after I paid I closed that account and called Michael Weir asking for a full refund check. He said it would be sent in 30 days which would be June 21st so I need to receive it by June 20th. We'll see if it actually comes.
