Someone pretending to be a recruiter from Wing Assistant sent me fake check

I applied for a job on LinkedIn and a woman named Denise Shaw reached out to me saying she was a recruiter from Wing Assistant. She used the identity of a real employee there, Brooke Kithcart, and even had valid letterheads. At first everything seemed legit if you just looked it up quick.

But then she started texting me like she was a totally different person. That felt off. Then she said she would send me a check and an invoice so I could order work equipment. When I got the PDFs the check and invoice were clearly just poorly photoshopped. I contacted Wing Assistant directly and they told me Denise Shaw does not work there and they would never send a check for equipment to new hires. They said they would report her for fraud.
