Got a fake job offer from a website called wmcorbin.com
It felt off right away. They sent over a questionnaire that was just asking for a bunch of my personal identifying information. It didn't make sense for a real job. I didn't send any money, but it's clearly a scam to get people's details. There was no real job, just them trying to collect information.
Fake job offer and a check for equipment that my bank said was a scam
Then they sent me a digital check for $4,500.00. They said it was for me to buy my remote computer setup. That just felt off to me, so I contacted my bank right away.
My bank looked at it and told me it was a scam. The whole thing was fake. The check wasn't real. I'm just glad I checked before I tried to deposit it or buy anything.
