Email about a job I didn’t apply for after my application was filled

I got an email from someone saying a position I applied for was already filled, but they had this other job if I wanted it. I said yeah I was interested, and they told me to email back with my current job status. I was about to reply but then I looked up the email on Ecautious.com and saw other people had the same thing happen. So I just stopped and didn’t respond. No money lost, just felt weird.

I got an email from [email protected] saying the job I applied for was already filled. But they said they had another remote position and to email them back if I was interested. Seemed a little off. No company name on the email itself just that address. I didn't lose any money but it felt strange.
