Letter about a debt I don't owe from Wynston Lee Gibson

A company called Wynston Lee Gibson called me today on my cellphone from a DC number. They said they sent me a certified letter back on April 29, 2026 about me owing their client Credit One Card $3,207.34. They want me to settle with a one time payment of $945.00 to avoid going to court.

They also called my older brother and left a message telling him to contact me. I don't owe Credit One that money at all. I want this company investigated to see if they're even legit.

They need to stop contacting me, my employer, and my family period or I'm sending this to the Attorney General's office in their area.

Debt collector called about rent to own debt and threatened court

I got a call from this number (888) 692-9272. The guy said I owe money from a rent to own company and that they hired them to collect it. He kept saying he’s going to take me to court if I don’t pay.

He said if I don’t reply I’m going to court anyway and they will garnish my pay to get the money out of me. The website he gave was winstenleegibson and the email was [email protected]. The address they listed is 11525 Olympic blvd Los Angeles, ca.

I never heard of this company before. He didn’t give me any proof I actually owe this debt. Just kept threatening court and wage garnishment. I haven’t paid anything but they wanted $50.00.
