Called what I thought was Xfinity, they tried to reset my password
I was trying to get a billing question answered, so I googled the number for Xfinity customer service. I called and talked to someone. They had me ask for a code to reset my password, which I didn't even realize until after I hung up with them.
During the call, they said my promotion had expired and offered me a new, lower monthly amount. But then they said the bill would actually come from AT&T. What! That was a huge red flag. I just hung up.
