Lost $7500 in romance scam after being convinced to invest in fake bitcoin mining

This person contacted me through the UpScrolled app. We started talking and then moved to Telegram. That didn't work well, so we switched to Zangi. We were talking for about two months. They made me believe we had a real romantic connection. They told me they were orphaned as a kid and that they cared a lot about helping orphans now.

Then they started asking for money. They convinced me to donate to their charity. After that, they talked me into investing in a bitcoin mining company called Xryptor.com. I ended up losing around $7500 total. I even sold some of my own things and bought a plane ticket to Spain because I thought I was going to meet them.

I only started to get suspicious when I tried to withdraw my bitcoin from the Xryptor site. The money was sent to some other crypto wallet, not mine. That's when I realized the website was fake and the whole thing was a scam.
