Job offer email with no real company behind it
The email said they would send me a check to cover equipment for working from home. That's when I knew something was off. I'm attaching part of the email they sent me, and I'm sure a lot of other people got the same one. It pretty much spells out the whole scam.
Fake job listing on ZipRecruiter led to a check scam
I actually did an interview with this guy and he sent me real looking new hire paperwork. Like a job offer letter, code of conduct, I-9 and W-4 forms. Then they sent me a check for a lot of money to buy software and hardware for the job. The check had a hold on it when I deposited it and then the hiring manager asked me to send money through a cash app to speed up my training. That's when I knew something was off. I didn't send anything.
Fake job offer for a Sales Manager position with no company name
They gave me a phone number (509) 998-9585 and an email [email protected]. The address they listed is in Kent, WA 98032. I didn't lose any money but it was a waste of time.

I was really into it and spent a lot of time filling out their questionnaire. Then I saw they were offering $5000 a month for part-time work. That's when I knew it was too good to be true. Total waste of my time.
