Someone from Facebook contacted me about help then took my money and information
Back in 2019, someone reached out to me from Facebook. He said he could help me with my taxes and unemployment. I ended up losing $20,000 to him.
From then on, he blocked me. He has run every bit of my information. Every single phone hacking, everything he can do. He made a data breach with Facebook and Apple. It's medical fraud too. I need help shedding light on this gang hacking.

Charged for two bracelets when I only ordered one
I bought an alcoholic magnetic bracelet from a site on Facebook on February 10th. It was $39.99 for just one bracelet, and I added a charger for $49.99. When I called their number, 833-756-1044, they told me the charger charge didn't go through with my bank.
Then on the 19th, I got two bracelets in the mail. They told me I took the option for two bracelets, but I didn't. They charged me $51.81 for one bracelet and then another $19.00 for the second bracelet option. They said that included tax and shipping.
I want a full refund, but they said I have to mail the bracelets back at my own expense. They're keeping the tax and shipping money. I already reported the Facebook site as fraud. I'm sending the bracelets back tomorrow, the 20th. Is there any way to get all my money back?

Got a fake Zelle email after trying to sell something on Facebook
I was trying to sell some items on Facebook. A person contacted me about buying them and asked for my email address to send a Zelle payment. Then I got an email that looked like it was from Zelle. It told me to call a phone number to set up a business account.
When I told the buyer I didn't get any payment notification or see the money in my account, she started pressuring me. She said she was out $1,000 and that I needed to call that number to fix it. She was really pushing for me to call.
I didn't call. I can only guess they were going to try and pressure me into refunding money I never even got.

Responded to a puppy post and got scammed out of $100
I saw a post on Facebook about a shih tzu puppy for sale. The seller wanted a $200 holding fee through Cash App or other online payments. I told her I don't use those. Then she asked for a $200 Apple gift card. I said no to that too.
She came back and said how about a $100 gift card and she'd deliver the puppy. She said "deal?" and I said yes. I sent her the card and went to the place we agreed to meet.
Then she sent me another message. She said I wouldn't get the puppy until I sent another $100 Apple gift card to secure his medical records. I said no. She just said then NO PUPPY. I'm out the $100 and there's no puppy.

Bought a Yeti cooler lottery online and got charged for a subscription I didn't want
I saw this thing on Facebook for a Yeti cooler online lottery. It was just $10.95 to buy. I went ahead and did it.
But then I also got "enrolled" in some monthly subscription. I did not know about this at all. They started charging me $81.12 every month. It went on for four months before I finally caught the charge on my statement. I just got it cancelled on 02/15/26. All told, they took $335 from me.

Ordered a cleaning solution from a Facebook ad, got charged monthly without my permission
I saw an ad on Facebook for a fragrant floor mopping solution and I ordered it. When it came, it had no fragrance at all. Then the next month, I got another bottle delivered and I was shocked. I never signed up for any monthly subscription.
I sent them an email right away telling them to stop it, since I didn't order more. I got no confirmation back from them. The next month, it showed up again at my door.
I've sent several messages and emails now saying how upset I am that they won't stop this. There's nowhere on their website to pause or cancel a subscription. These people are a scam.

Bought a buy 2 get 3 free deal and got scammed out of over $500
I saw this offer on Facebook for a product, it was buy two bottles and get three free. The price was supposed to be $38.00 per bottle. I went to the website to buy it.
When I completed the purchase, the website automatically added more products and a subscription fee. They never told me about any of that. I've sent emails trying to cancel and get a refund, but no one answers.
Now I'm out over $500.00 for this garbage. The product doesn't work like it said it would. The whole thing came from an address in Aurora, CO. I just want my money back.

Ordered a custom pillow with a picture of my aunt and got something completely wrong
I got sent this pillow from a seller on Facebook and it looks nothing like the picture I sent them. It did not look like the picture at all. I don't even want this thing.
I was trying to get a pillow made with a picture of my auntie who was murdered. What they sent is completely wrong. Now I can't find any way to send it back to them or get a refund. My money is just gone.
I paid $100 for this. It's so frustrating. SMH.

Charged extra for jeans I didn't order, got cheap unusable pants
I ordered one pair of jeans for $9.99 on Facebook on November 6th. The next morning I saw two charges on my account. One was for $20.68 and the second was for $24.68. I called right away to cancel.
The clerk was very rude but said the order was cancelled and they refunded the $20.68. I asked why I was charged $24.68. They told me I ordered a second pair of jeans at full price. I did not do that. It makes no sense at all why someone would do that? I talked to several customer service reps, all of them were the rudest. They finally agreed to refund 40% of the $24.68 but I've never received that money.
Three weeks after my last call, I received two pairs of pants. They were the thinnest, cheapest pants, maybe would fit a child. I donated them to ARC. Do not order anything from this, I wouldn't even call it a company. I'm sure it's a scam.

Ordered dresses on Facebook, never got them, now my card is compromised
I was on Facebook and I saw some dresses for sale. I purchased them and waited. Then it said they were delivered, but I never got anything. I had bought the same dresses on TikTok before and actually got them, just in the wrong size. So when I saw this sale on Facebook, I thought it was okay to order again. Now I have to change all my debit card information because of this. The email they used was [email protected]. I lost $30.99.

Charged $185 instead of $45 for a concealed gun permit that's not even legal here
I saw a company on Facebook advertising a concealed gun permit for $45. My husband went to check out and they took $185 from us instead. By law, they can't even give a concealed gun permit in Kentucky. My husband has a mental health problem and didn't know better, and this company took advantage of that. It's a fake company. We want our money back.

Got a weird message on Facebook pretending to be Dwayne Johnson about government money
I got a message on Facebook. It claimed to be from Dwayne Johnson, saying the government owes me money. To see how much I'd get, I had to put my full name in a box. It said I'd receive $2,350.00 withdrawn to my account and then more each week. It stated it did not want any money from me.
Then it wanted $137.00 from my credit card account, which I didn't give. I looked through it and spotted an "attorney advisor." I asked if it might be a scam. It had very good reviews, over 1,000. Then I got a call about a card allowance if I'm under Medicare part A and B. They told me I was under Martins Point, told me my age was 66, then asked for my name, Marlene. They also wanted my email address, which I gave. They said they'd contact me by email or phone and I said yes. They told me to hold and after 5 minutes they hung up.
I looked for the number that just called, 1 207 797 0265, and it's not in service. Then I went back to the credit card form. It was for $137.00, then it went down to $5.00. I did not give them my credit card information. The address listed was 7508, Covina, CA 91723, USA.

Ordered sweat suits from a cheap ad and never got them
I saw an ad on Facebook for sweat suits at a cheap price. The website looked okay, so I ordered eight of them. The total came to $38.60.
The money came out of my account right away. But I never got any tracking info or a confirmation email, nothing. I tried the email they had, [email protected], but it just bounced back.
It's been a while now and no suits, no contact, nothing. The whole thing feels like a scam that started from that Facebook ad. I'm out the money and have nothing to show for it.

Bought a box from an ad on Facebook, got something completely different
I saw an ad on Facebook. It was advertising an Amazon end of the year clearance sale for returned items. I purchased a box from what I thought was that sale.
What I received was nothing like what was in the ad. It was in no way, shape, or form what was pictured. I paid $35 for this. The ad came from someone in Kent, WA. I feel like I was misled by what was posted on Facebook.
