Bought shoes from Facebook ad and nothing showed up

Saw an ad on Facebook for Hey Dude shoes on sale. They were only 4.99 each so I bought 8 pairs. Had to spend over 30.00 to get free delivery so total came out to 32.59.

Never got anything. No shoes, no tracking, nothing. The website was on Facebook so I thought it was legit. Now I’m out the money and can’t even find the page anymore.

Knife I bought from a Facebook ad was cheap Chinese junk

I saw this ad on Facebook about a blade smith retiring and selling off his last knives. It seemed like a genuine story, so I bought one in good faith thinking it was hand forged Damascus steel. When it showed up it came in this flimsy box from China. The knife was obviously cheaply made, nothing like what was advertised. I feel like I got tricked by the whole story.

Charged extra for a purchase and then they tried to get my card info

I bought something through Facebook and they charged me more than the price listed for the product. When I complained they said they would only refund half of what I paid. Then they sent me an email with some kind of file on it, I think it was malware, and wanted me to open it so they could get more of my credit card information. I lost $169.00 total. I didn't open the file because it felt strange. They just kept trying to get more from me instead of fixing the overcharge.

Bought dresses on Facebook and never got my package

I went on Facebook saw these dresses I liked so I bought them. They took my money right away. Then I waited about a month and checked the tracking and it said delivered but to the wrong address.

I went to that address and they never had my package. So I told the seller it was the wrong address and I wanted a refund. Then the whole site was changed or deleted I couldn't even find it anymore. So Im out $36.98 and nothing I can do about it.

Advertised a cherry tree that would have fruit same season

I saw an ad on Facebook for a cherry tree. It said you would have fruit this same season. That sounded good so I ordered it. I paid $42.84. The tree came and it was just a little stick. No fruit. Nothing. I feel like they lied. I just want my money back.

Ordered pants on Facebook and never got them

I ordered some pants on May 14, 2026 through Facebook. Paid $42.95 for them. They never showed up.

I tried contacting them but they won't give me my money back. No refund, nothing. Just ignored me after I paid. Still waiting on the pants or the money.

Bought iodine nose spray online and it burns really bad

I ordered some iodine nose spray from a seller on Facebook. It cost me $106.24. When I got it and tried using it the stuff hurts so bad I can't use it at all.

The box looks like it's trying to copy some American company's packaging but the words are all spelled wrong on it. So it's clearly not the real thing. Just feels like a total waste of money and I'm stuck with this bottle of stuff that burns my nose.

Paid for something on Facebook and tracking number never moved

I found this thing on Facebook and paid $22 through some link. They sent me a tracking number saying it was being processed. But it ain’t been processed at all. The tracking just sits there.

They took my money and now the email they used is [email protected]. I don’t know what else to do. I just want my money back or the item.

Job offer from Facebook asked about my bank account

I got a message on Facebook about a work from home job. They asked if I had a checking account and I told them no. They said that was strange. Then they told me I was hired and they are sending an email for a hiring packet.

It just felt off. I didn't give them anything. No money lost or anything but it was weird how fast they said I was hired without really talking to me. The whole thing seemed rushed.

Bought a nervous system course off Facebook and never got it

I bought a sales course on nervous system regulation off Facebook. It was supposed to be great for continuing education, like for educators, counselors, therapists, teachers, that kind of thing. I paid $101 for it.

Never got the course. No download link, no email, nothing. I tried messaging the seller but got no reply. The whole thing just disappeared. I feel stupid for paying through Facebook like that.

Facebook ad with Elon Musk turned out to be a scam

I saw an ad on Facebook where Elon Musk was the host. It said Google and other companies including Tesla need human input to answer questions to help AI come up with the best answers. He said we get paid for our answers and there are no wrong answers. So I paid for the initial program and things looked legit at first. After each question I answered a dollar amount would show up.

But in fine print it said you couldn't withdraw any money till I reached a $10,000 limit. Then a banner popped up saying if I paid $250 more I could join the VIP group and make even more money. So I did that. Then the withdraw amount went up to $30,000. I started looking into it and found out it was nothing but a scam. I lost $500 total.

I'm so mad. How can Facebook allow these ads on their platform?

Ordered knee patches on Facebook and never got them

I ordered some knee patches off Facebook and never received them. They said they delivered them on June 16th in my mailbox but I never got them. I was on a payment plan with Affirm so I’m out $60 and still paying for something I don’t have.

I checked my mailbox every day and nothing was there. No note or anything. I tried to figure out who to contact but it’s just a mess. No company name on the seller page either. Just a link to Facebook.

Someone pretending to be my cousin asked me for money for stimulus

Someone on Facebook was pretending to be my cousin. They told me about government stimulus money but said I have to pay to get it. First they asked for $1500, then it changed to $500.

Then the person pretending to be my cousin said he already paid $1,000 for me through Zelle. Now Joy Prater is trying to get me to pay the other $500. I never asked anyone to pay anything for me. It just feels off and I didn't send any money.

Ordered something on Facebook and never got it

I ordered something from a website on Facebook using my credit card. It was $80. I never got the item.

I tried to figure out who to contact but there was no real company name or anything on the page. It just looked like a regular ad or store on Facebook.

Now my money is gone and I have no way to get it back. Nobody replied when I tried to message them.

Ordered tanning gummies twice and got wrong stuff with no way to call

I ordered 2 packs of tanning gummies off Facebook and they didn't work at all. Then I got 2 more packs I never ordered in the mail. There's no phone number for the business anywhere on the package or online. I just lost 94 dollars on this.

Golf cart giveaway wanted gift cards and then more money

I entered into a giveaway for a free golf cart on Facebook. They told me I won and everything seemed fine at first. Then they wanted me to pay with gift cards to get the cart delivered.

The golf cart was supposed to be delivered to my house Wednesday morning. It never showed up because they wanted more money after I already paid with the gift cards. I lost about 150 dollars total. Just feels like a scam all the way through.

I ordered a power washer nozzle off Facebook. It was 23.98. I looked up the company after I placed the order and they are selling makeup. Not power washer parts. So I don’t know what I’m gonna get or if I’ll get anything at all. It just didn’t make sense. I haven’t heard anything back from them.

Paid for a handmade item but got something that clearly was not

I saw something on Facebook that I really liked, it said it was handmade. I paid $96 for it. When it finally came you could tell right away it was not handmade at all. It looked like cheap mass produced stuff. I don’t know who the seller really was, it was just some page on Facebook. The address they had was in Asheville, NC but I have no idea if that is even real. I feel like I got tricked.

Weight loss ad with famous faces took my money and disappeared

I saw this weight loss thing on Facebook with some well known people in it. They were talking about how great it was so I figured it was legit. I ordered from them and paid $730.80.

Never got anything. Not the product, not a tracking number, nothing. The phone number they had was (855) 889-3137 but nobody picks up when you call. I tried messaging them on Facebook too but no reply.

The page is still up but they dont answer. Just took my money and thats it. I feel stupid for falling for it but it looked real with those faces on there.

Bought a cat water fountain that never showed up right

I bought a cat water fountain back in May. They kept telling me delays because of quality issues. Finally shipped mid June. When I got it the product was not as advertised at all.

I tried to contact them about returning it or a refund but get no response. But they are still sending me daily ads. I see comments from other people who bought the same thing and it sounds like the same thing happened to them. I lost $179.
