Paid $600 deposit for puppies through Facebook group admin
I messaged her because she was an admin in a huge American bully xl group on Facebook. She seemed legit, had photos going back to 2015. But then she asked for a deposit to transfer the puppies into my name.
I paid $600 for that. Then she wanted $1700 more for both puppies. I never got anything. No puppies, no money back. Just silence after I said I couldn’t pay more.

Paid for a vacuum through Facebook and nothing showed up
I was looking up information on a portable cordless vacuum and before the authorization payment came up, it went through and took off money in my PayPal account. There is no email address or phone number that I can contact. I did not get a confirmation email and I found out too late that this is often a fraudulent company.
Very upset and disappointed. I lost $125.

Ordered from a Facebook ad and never got my stuff
I saw an ad on Facebook and ordered a product. I paid $52.41 for it. That was a while ago and it never showed up.
I contacted them several times through the ad or whatever. Finally got one reply back and they basically said they don't know why it isn't being delivered. That was it. No help, no refund, nothing.
So I'm out the money and never got what I paid for.

Charged twice for an online purchase and no refund yet
I bought something through Facebook and they charged me twice for it. I paid 377 dollars and then another 377 came out of my account. I’ve been waiting for them to refund the extra charge but nothing has happened. I called and tried to get help but they just keep saying they’ll look into it. It’s been a while now and still no money back. I don’t know what else to do.

Bought plant seeds on Facebook that never grew
I saw an ad on Facebook for plant seeds of beautiful plants to spiff up the house. Sounded good. The website didn’t really have a company name on it, just the address 1228 san pedro st sw, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
I ordered and paid 33 dollars. Planted them and waited to see these plants sprout, grow into great looking plants. Nothing happened. Just dirt. Waste of time and monies.

Paid for a high pressure hose nozzle and got nothing
I saw this ad on Facebook for a high pressure hose nozzle. It looked really good and the price was right so I ordered it. It was $45.55.
That was a while ago and I still haven't gotten anything. No package, no tracking number, nothing. I tried to message the seller through Facebook but there is no real company name or anything. Just the page.
I feel pretty stupid about it now. The whole thing felt a little off after I paid but I thought it would be fine. I just want my money back or the nozzle. I don't even know who to call.

Ordered three items and they kept saying delivered but nothing showed up
I ordered three items and they never came. They keep telling me they were delivered but I never got anything. I checked with the post office and they told me it’s a scam from China. I lost $34. It’s just frustrating because they won’t admit it. No tracking number worked right either. I don’t know what else to do.

Elon Musk neuropathy ad on Facebook charging different amounts
I saw this ad on Facebook about Elon Musk and some neuropathy medicine. It said it gets rid of the pain and you don’t have it anymore. They had several people saying they used it and it works.
So the ad says you can get one bottle for $24.97. I tried to order it but then it tries to charge you $269 instead. That’s not what it said. The address they had was 1002 Yuma Street in Colorado Springs but I don’t know who they really are.
I didn’t lose any money because I saw the price change before I paid. But this feels wrong. They are advertising one price and trying to take a lot more.

Paid for a walker on Facebook and never got it
I saw an ad on Facebook for a walker. It was a mid price walker, nothing too cheap or too expensive. I checked another site and they had the same info so it didn't seem like a scam at first. The address said NJ, USA.
I used the SHOP app to pay for it. That was 65 dollars. I never got the walker. No tracking, no email, nothing. I tried to message the seller on Facebook but no reply. Just feels like I got tricked.

They keep charging my card after one order in December
I ordered something on Facebook back in December 2025. Now they just keep sending more orders and charging my credit card over and over. I was slow to catch it because my husband was going through cancer surgery and treatments. I just want it to stop. They are in Los Angeles, CA. I lost $165.27 so far.

Phone call about sharing lottery winnings with Elon Musk delivery
I got a call from this number (805) 817-7306. Somebody was talking about a lottery winner in Michigan, a woman named Julia Leach, and how she wanted to share her winnings with me. I only gave them my phone number, nothing else.
My gut told me it was a scam right away. They wanted more information from me but I stopped when they said it was using Elon Musk Delivery through FedEx. That just didn't make any sense. I didn't lose any money or anything but it was weird.

Ordered corn flower seeds and got a fake tracking number instead
I ordered some corn flower seeds two bags of them and never got them. They said it was delivered but my post office manager told me that tracking number was not one they have ever used and that it was fake. I lost 71 dollars and 59 cents.
I opened a case through PayPal and they closed it in the sellers favor just because they had a tracking number. So now I’m here. The seller was on Facebook. That’s all I really know.

I just kept waiting and waiting and nothing ever showed up. No tracking number or anything. I tried to figure out who the seller was but it’s like they just disappeared. No company name on the page or in any of the messages.
So now I’m out the money and no baskets. I don’t know what else to do about it.

Facebook keeps shoving anxiety and relationship stuff at me after I said no
I’ve been dealing with cyber attacks through my phone, car stereo, and even people following me in person for five years. A lot of it is done through phone calls and Bluetooth. I never looked up anxiety on my phone, and I’m single. I don’t look for relationship advice either.
But Facebook has been shoving this stuff in my face. I have screenshots from just a 24 hour period showing all this. I don’t think someone with a mental health disorder needs their diagnosis thrown at them over and over. And a single person doesn’t need relationship advice if they’re single. I tried to deactivate the item and Facebook responded but it isn’t working. This has been going on for about a week now.

They kept asking for more money after I already paid
I found this person on Facebook. They said if I sent a certain amount I would get a much bigger amount back in just a few days. So I sent the money.
But then nothing happened. Now they're telling me I have to send another $1600 before I can get the check for what I asked for. That wasn't mentioned at all when I first paid. I've been trying to get them to just refund what I already sent but they keep giving me the run around.

Ordered sandals from Facebook ad and got charged twice with nothing delivered
I saw an ad on Facebook for Dr Scholls sandals, they were selling for $29.99 so I ordered one pair. Now I got two charges on my card for $29.99 two days apart and still no sandals showed up. I don't know who to contact because the ad is gone now. Just wanted the sandals I paid for, not this mess.

Paid 19.99 for a book trial and got charged 49.99 instead
I saw a story on Facebook saying I could read the whole text of a book if I paid 19.99 for one week. It said it was a free reading trial for books. So I paid it.
I never got to read any other stories or anything. Then I saw a $49.99 charge show up on my credit card. There was no option to delete or cancel the subscription anywhere. Now I’m stuck with this charge and no way to stop it.

Ordered Crocs for Mother's Day and got cheap knockoffs instead
I ordered a pair of sandals for my daughter-in-law off Facebook, they said Crocs on the ad for Mother's Day. What showed up was a pair of cheap knockoffs, wrong color and wrong size. They look nothing like the picture.
Now they want me to pay $10 to ship them back. I already paid $10 to get them shipped to me and they were wrong. I shouldn't have to pay again just to get my money back but they're arguing with me about it. So now I'm having to take it up with PayPal.

Fake product from Facebook ad not what was shown
I bought something off a Facebook ad. The website was listed as Facebook and the address was 290 Duffy Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801. It said it was one thing in the pictures but what showed up was totally different. Total counterfeit.
I paid 30 dollars for it. Just a fake product, not what was shown at all. I feel stupid for falling for it but the ad looked real enough. No way to get my money back.
